Flexible headquarters with open views and tailored spaces
When ALIMSA, a leader in the food industry, approached us to design their new headquarters, we set out to create a workplace that reflected their collaborative culture, operational needs, and vision for the future.
Our involvement started well before the design phase. We worked alongside ALIMSA to select the right location, evaluating spaces for accessibility, flexibility, and their potential to grow with the company. The site we chose stood out immediately: a prime spot in the heart of San Pedro Garza García, with panoramic views and a private terrace that gave it a unique character.
The design direction became clear when we removed the old ceiling. The exposed concrete structure revealed generous height and openness that we didn’t want to hide. Although the surface was in poor condition, painting it black gave it a clean, industrial character that tied back to ALIMSA’s roots in production and manufacturing.
At the center of the layout, we placed the open workstations so every team member could enjoy natural light and city views. Surrounding this core, we created private offices for leadership, each tailored to the way its occupant works. Some included areas for quick brainstorming sessions, while others prioritized focus and privacy. These configurations were tested and refined to support real day-to-day needs.
We selected simple, durable materials that would stand up to daily use and keep attention on the space itself and its views. The result is a work environment that balances openness and privacy, encouraging collaboration while respecting individual work styles.
For us, this project captures what Angular aims to achieve: a design that works as hard as the people who use it, balancing budget, function, and aesthetics to create a space that is unique, efficient, and ready for the future.
